Urban hunting is an effective way to help curtail whitetail populations and more towns are turning to bowhunting for assistance instead of expensive and ineffective alternatives.
Bowhunters often must undergo a safety course – even if they’ve had one before – and sometimes a shooting evaluation test. Officials set parameters and the public is aware. That often stirs the passions pretty strongly but in many areas the civic leaders aren’t buckling.
