Incredible Nontypical

by Daniel E. Schmidt, D&DH Editor

One of the best photos to come across the email today. This giant nontypical was allegedly
killed in western Wisconsin during the state’s recently completed firearms season.
The note indicated that the buck was living in an area closed to hunting (a state
park), but wandered out of the refuge during the firearms season and in front of this
lucky hunter.

The note also indicated the rack gross-scored 210+ inches on the B&C scale. What an
incredible animal. If anyone has more information on this deer, please contact us
here at the Rub Line.

    Hi Donald,
It was scored as a nontyp because of side to side deductions and at least one shared base for tines, I believe.
