Destination Whitetail is proud to announce the addition of model Brittney Leigh Glaze as the show’s new co-host. Glaze will join host Lauren Rich for the third season of the show, which airs on the Sportsman Channel.
Tune in to Destination Whitetail to check out Glaze’s co-hosting debut when the show premieres July 2 at 8:30 p.m. ET on the Sportsman Channel.
Glaze’s first hunt was 10 years ago, the same year she began modeling. While her professional career has her dolled up and beautiful as she graces runways and print advertisements, Glaze feels most comfortable sporting camo and maybe some mud as she stalks and hunts in her free time.
Since her first deer hunt, the 25-year-old model has also hunted hogs, coyotes and turkey. Despite a busy schedule shooting for publications like Maxim and Seventeen and clients that include Taurus and Mossy Oak, Glaze still gets out for hunts at few times a year. The new co-hosting gig means much more time in the great outdoors working on her technique.
“Hosting is going to be a totally different world for me, and I feel so blessed to have the chance to be part of the show,” Glaze said. “I am most excited about meeting different hunters and learning about the tactics they use in the field. Hopefully they can teach me a thing or two to help me in the woods this season.”
Destination Whitetail, produced by F+W Outdoors, premiered in 2012 on the Sportsman Channel. The series investigates the people, places and ways to hunt whitetail throughout North America. In the 43 states that have deer populations, their habitat varies as greatly as the traditions and methods used to hunt them.
Destination Whitetail goes behind the scenes with some of the outdoor industry’s most prolific personalities and learns how whitetails have contributed to their success. After its first season, Destination Whitetail was named a finalist for the 2012 Sportsman Choice Awards for “Best New Series.”
