‘Get A Shotgun,’ Biden Says, So Look At This Video Of His Stupid Advice

Vice President Joe Biden has suggested that in order to better protect your home that a shotgun would be the best weapon for defense.

We’re not going to quibble about a shotgun. It’s a fine weapon with a healthy dose of effectiveness and lethality in the hands of someone who knows what to do with it. Even some who don’t, we’ll admit. Shoots through sheetrock and wooden studs, too.

You don’t even have to aim at the door!

Personally, an adjustable stock, possibly a pistol grip, and a magazine extension to allow for more shells would be preferable. Why have three or five shells when nine would be better? Of course! And a good tactical defense shotgun wouldn’t be worth its beans without some rails and a light with a sensor, so you can blind the crap out of your assailant (if need be, of course) before taking care of bidness.

Ah, Joe. Smart man. He’s the second-most powerful man in the world recommending a high-capacity magazine shotgun with super accessories. (Second-most? Really? What about Dennis Rodman? The Worm just finagled a private meeting with reclusive North Korean hairstyle icon Kim Jong Un. Rodman might be pushing the bar for the No. 2 spot. But we digress.)

Hold on to your sequestration notices … VP Joe Biden said what? To protect yourself, shoot off a balcony? Shoot through a door?

Apparently so, in this video!

Yes, he did! Biden said this: “If you wanna protect yourself get a double-barrel shotgun. Have the shells … a 12-gauge shotgun … and I promise you, as I told my wife, we live in an area that’s wooded and somewhat secluded. I said, Jill, if there’s ever a problem just walk out on the balcony here, just walk out … put that double barrel shotgun and fire two blasts.”

Ah. Hmmm. Really? Just fire two blasts at an unknown target?

That’s not really good safety advice, Mr. Vice President. Neither is shooting through a door. One of the most important tenets of firearm safety is “Know Your Target.” Even the law enforcement folks know that.

A door? Biden really said that?

(The phrase “Biden really said that?” is believed to be used often in Congress and the White House whenever he’s allowed out of the back yard.)

Yes, he did, in an interview published Monday with Field & Stream, when he said if “you want to keep someone away from your house, just fire the shotgun through the door.”

Holy congressional aide scandal! Fire a gun off the balcony, and fire through a door!

So not only has Biden recommended firing at targets you’re unsure of, you’ve also alerted the assailants (if they’re still around, of course) that you’re possibly out of ammunition since the next thing they’ll hear is, “DAMN! I’M OUT OF AMMUNITION!” and they’ll probably be pretty ticked off. Unless you hit them through the door or off the balcony, of course, and then you might have legal problems out the wazoo.

Biden said that? (Yes, Mr. President, he did. Twice.)

Let’s see this video again:

So a guy in Virginia followed Biden’s advice, shot through a door and now is in trouble!

As the kids like to text, SMH. (Twice.)
