Hot Gear: LaCrosse teams with Sitka on Optifade Pattern

Fall 2017 marks the first hunting season whitetail and waterfowl hunters will have an option to outfit head-to-toe in GORE™ OPTIFADE™ concealment systems.

LaCrosse Footwear is proud to partner with Sitka Gear to introduce the first rubber hunting boots in GORE OPTIFADE Elevated II and Waterfowl Marsh patterns. Both patterns will be available in the LaCrosse Alphaburly Pro model – the brand’s classic, premium hunting boot. Built with natural, hand-laid rubber over insulating neoprene, the Alphaburly Pro combines durable comfort and scent-free protection.

An embossed neoprene liner increases air circulation to better regulate foot temperature in cold or heat, making the boot ideal for a variety of seasons and end uses. Featuring a cushioning EVA midsole and unique outsole pattern, designed to shed mud and debris, the Alphaburly Pro is built for long-wear comfort.

“We’re thrilled to partner with Sitka to offer hunters a new camouflage option in rubber boots,” says Chris Currah, Product Line Manager for LaCrosse Hunt. “Whether chasing whitetail or calling in waterfowl, the Alphaburly Pro featuring GORE OPTIFADE Elevated II and Marsh patterns offer complete concealment on the stand or in the field.”

GORE OPTIFADE is the first concealment system designed around the science of animal vision, rather than human eyesight. Unlike camouflage that incorporates sticks and leaves, GORE OPTIFADE prevents prey from recognizing you as a predator, even if detected, making you “nothing” in their eyes.

The Alphaburly Pro GORE OPTIFADE Elevated II will feature a non-insulated and 800G Thinsulate Ultra Insulation version. The Alphaburly Pro GORE OPTIFADE Waterfowl Marsh will be available in 1600G Thinsulate Ultra Insulation.

MSRP ranges from $169.95-$199.95. Both patterns are available July 1, 2017 at and select retailers.
