State gun owners are obviously not happy about this news.

From Deer & Deer Hunting’s Facebook page:

Cindy Panioto: I live in CT and I’m undone! The gun owners never had a prayer. We rallied, brought more than 3,000 gun owners to the Capitol for a lobby day. On lobby day our own Governor called us “the fringe of the fringe”!! We have a Democratically controlled House, Senate and Gov’s office. The saddest part is they so easily took away law abiding citizen’s rights and the killing will continue. The anti’s are so pleased they “did something” and will now go on the the next emotional cause.

Jonathan Schor: The only thing more gun laws will help are the criminals and the police. it will make it harder for the legal gun owners to get the guns to legally shoot at targets (and or protect themselves from criminals). instead of making new laws, why not enforce the laws that are in place now and stop the guns getting into the criminals hands in the first place.

Richard Onley: Sorry its not gonna fix anything.more gun laws..then theyll just us bombs to do more damage….they havent fixed chicago..where there are shootings everyday and people are dying.

Greg Tatro: Another example of the government saving us from ourselves. Enough is enough.
