Kansas Finds Four More Deer With CWD

Four deer were found to be infected with chronic wasting disease, according to the Kansas Department of Wildlife, Parks and Tourism, including the first case found in Ellis County.

The Wichita Eagle reported that Kansas DWPT biologist Shane Hesting confirmed the findings. CWD was first detected in Kansas in 2005 and is in about two dozen U.S. states and Canadian provinces.
