Nugent Will Whack & Stack with Muzzy Broadheads in 2013

Ted Nugent will shoot Muzzy Broadheads in 2013 while producing new episodes of his popular “Spirit of the Wild” TV Show.

Muzzy Outdoors, the makers of the number-one selling fixed head broadhead, has announced it will be the official broadhead of Ted Nugent’s popular Outdoor Channel series “Spirit of the Wild TV.” Nugent, a life-long sportsman and a zealous Second Amendment rights activist, has been a driving force in bringing hunting and his insightful messages to mainstream media.

“I’ve always admired Muzzy for what they stood for and the quality of the products they produced,” Nugent told me this afternoon. “I must say they are some incredible broadheads. I’ve been whacking stuff all fall with them and those four-blade, 100-grains (heads) are flat-out incredible. I shot a 250-pound hog with one yesterday and it died within seconds. It didn’t even quiver when it hit the ground. I’ve never seen anything like that in all my years of bowhunting.”

Although Nugent has shot various broadheads over the years, including the new Rage Broadheads, he has showed a preference toward 2-blade heads, mostly cut-on-contact designs. His switch to Trocar-tipped Muzzys came to a shock to some of his long-time fans.

“They’re impressive,” he said. “And they do the job incredibly well. That’s what matters most to me.”
