Oregon is about as diverse a state as it gets, with geography spanning desert to seashore and a population ranging from hippies and liberals to far right conservatives.
Safe to say there’s not anything specific to say about Oregon other than it has a big variety. That’s not a bad thing, either. Variety is the spice of life, eh?
But according to this report in Willamette Week and this one by OPB, one whitetail deer loves the fact that Oregon’s weed-smoking aficionados plant their herb within reach of his chompers. And, apparently, the deer loves to chomp. And sleep.
The deer even has a name, according to the report: Sugar Bob. What a cool name, bro. Sugar Bob lives in the Applegate Valley area, which obviously has a thriving weed community.
“When I’m down here, he either stays pretty close to me,” pot grower Richard Davis told OPB, “or he’ll go in the trim room and just get on the bed. He cleans up all the stuff off the floor, so he’s ready for a nap.”
Hey, we all know deer eat weeds. We just didn’t know they ate weed. Right?
