Suppressors Debated for Hunting Seasons

Georgia hunters may be able to use suppressors, also known as silencers, if a bill in the state legislature gains final approval.

Supporters of of Senate Bill 301 testified before the Georgia House Game, Fish and Parks Committee last week. But it has not received a second committee hearing date. The bill passed 48-5 in the Senate. If it is not voted on by the House before the current session ends, the bill will die.

The NRA-ILA is in support of the bill and is urging hunters to contact Georgia legislators to support a vote in the House. To do so, visit this link for information.
