Willie Robertson is a wildly-popular star of the A&E hit series Duck Dynasty, but before the show hit mainstream television he was famous in the hunting industry for his family’s popular waterfowl calls and fun-loving DVDs.
The Robertsons started with ducks and the wildly successful Duck Commander line of calls. Living in Louisiana, the family took great advantage of the natural resources and wildlife to put food on the table and for enjoyment.
But Robertson and a handful of former and current Major League Baseball players and country music stars comprise the Buck Commanders and pursue white-tailed deer, too. Robertson, Adam LaRoche, Ryan Langerhans, Tom Martin, Luke Bryan and Jason Aldean host Buck Commander powered by Weaver Optics and Fusion Ammunition.
They recently released their fifth DVD, Buck Commander 5 – Redemption, and the show airing on the Outdoor Channel recently won the coveted Golden Moose Award.
Recently, the brand expanded its quality Weaver Buck Commander optics series by adding new scopes, binoculars and a rangefinder. Also in the mix is a large variety of innovative hunting packs, gun cases and range bags that customers can customize with an extensive, new line of accessory pouches.
Here’s a look behind the scenes as Buck Commanders Willie Robertson and Tom Martin prepare to introduce the new product lines. The four-day photo and video shoot was held at award-winning photographer Lee Kjos’ family farm and photography studio in south-central Minnesota.
