Gallagher has been actively involved in the outdoors industry for more than four decades. He played an instrumental role in the evolution of tree stands and related hunting products. Gallagher retired recently from Cabela’s, where he served as Senior Director of Merchandizing. He currently works for Independent Hunting, LLC, which is owned by Fred and Michele Eichler, and serves on the Board of Hunter Specialties.

Gallagher previously served on the board of the Archery Trade Association and Treestand Manufacturer’s Association. His background and unwavering passion for promoting safe treestand use make him an excellent addition to the TSSA board.

TSSA is an evolving non-profit organization of hunting industry leaders focused on significantly reducing treestand incidents through promotion, education, and best practices. Treestand falls are the leading cause of serious injury and death to deer hunters and are virtually all preventable.
