Find Your Deer with Updated Omni-Brite Lighted Nocks

Two years after introducing its revolutionary Omni-Brite lighted nock system for crossbow arrows, TenPoint Crossbow Technologies has introduced a substantially improved version called the Omni-Brite 2.0.

TENPOINT Omni Brite nock may26The new three-piece Omni-Brite 2.0 Lighted Nock System consists of a redesigned Nock Receiver with built-in locking clips, an impact activated LED lite stick, and a new transparent, auto-indexing Omni-Brite Cap that snaps securely into the Receiver.

“The improvements of the Omni-Brite 2.0 Lighted Nock System demonstrate our commitment to listening to our customer feedback” said TenPoint CEO Rick Bednar. “The new snap fit along with the Omni-Nock design make the Omni-Brite 2.0 the premier lighted crossbow nock on the market today.”

Installing the system involves gluing the Nock Receiver into the arrow shaft and aligning it with the vanes using an alignment tool included in the package. Once aligned, insert the lite stick, LED-end-first, into the Omni-Brite Cap. Finally, snap the Omni-Brite Cap into the Nock Receiver to complete the installation. The clip and snap-in feature is a great improvement over the original Omni-Brite pressure fit system because it keeps the Omni-Brite Cap from popping out of the Receiver on impact.

When shooting the arrow, the bowstring’s force activates the LED Unit. To turn it off, remove the Cap and LED Unit from the Receiver and pull the LED’s lighted tip until the light turns off. After reinstalling the LED and Nock in the Receiver, the system is ready to shoot again. The battery-powered LED stick should last up to eight hours under normal circumstances and is replaceable after it loses its charge.

Just like TenPoint’s non-illuminated Omni-Nock, the lighted Omni-Brite 2.0’s surface features six micro-grooves that form three string-alignment channels. This design eliminates improper loading accidents that can occur with moon and capture-nocks. In addition, it prevents flat-nock “shoot-over” or “shoot-under” that can happen with the acute string angles common on today’s narrower bow assemblies. Even if the vane is slightly misaligned when the arrow is loaded, the Omni-Nock and Omni-Brite 2.0 will self-align the arrow as the bowstring accelerates.

The Omni-Brite 2.0 Lighted Nock System is available for the company’s entire lineup of crossbow arrows.

Engineered for TenPoint Crossbow Technoliges, Horton Crossbow Innovations, and Wicked Ridge Crossbows, the Omni-Nock and Omni-Brite 2.0 work well on other manufactures’ models with precise and consistent bowstring alignment. Check your manufacturer’s arrow specifications. If it specifies or requires a moon or capture nock, please follow its recommendation.
