No Medal for This Olympic Bonehead Deer Decision

A U.S. Olympic wrestler was cited by Colorado officials after they were called because he was stalking a deer in a car dealership parking lot and then shot it with a bow and arrow.

U.S. Army Sgt. First Class Dremiel Byers, 39, shot a buck with his bow from a Colorado Springs car dealership parking lot. Witnesses called city police, who then contacted Colorado state wildlife officials. The buck was found, as was Byers.

He was written up for multiple hunting and wildlife violations. Byers was ninth in the 2012 Olympic Games, competing in the 120kg Greco-Roman class. He also was seventh in the 2008 Games.
