WATCH: Fired Up Deer Hunting in the Best Buck State

The Destination Whitetail cameras travel to Wisconsin for a hunting adventure with the enthusiastic hunters of Takedown Outdoors on this week’s all-new episode, airing exclusively on the Sportsman Channel this Wednesday at 8:30 p.m. ET/PT.

Milos and Bast’s enthusiasm for the outdoors has extended to a thriving community of people that now associate themselves with Takedown Outdoors. On this week’s new Destination Whitetail, Milos and Bast invite our cameras along for two hunts, and the group’s astounding streak of luck will surprise viewers.

Get in the tree stand with Jason Amato, a man who has been with Takedown Outdoors for three seasons and is passionate about his pursuit of big bucks. Be there as Amato works to kill a Pope & Young buck on the ground with a bow, a feat he hopes to capture on camera. Plus, the Destination Whitetail cameras capture a thrilling father-son takedown as Bast and his son, Colton Bast, head to the woods to hunt. Check out this week’s new episode of Destination Whitetail to catch all the action.

Destination Whitetail, produced by F+W Outdoors, premiered in 2012 on the Sportsman Channel. The series investigates the people, places and ways to hunt whitetail throughout North America. In the 43 states that have deer populations, their habitat varies as greatly as the traditions and methods used to hunt them. Destination Whitetail goes behind the scenes with some of the outdoor industry’s most prolific personalities and learns how whitetails have contributed to their success. After its first season, Destination Whitetail was named a finalist for the 2012 Sportsman Choice Awards for “Best New Series.”
