“Is this normal? I’m not cold, but I’m just shaking!” With that innocent admission, a little hunting girl, Savannah, was welcomed to the deer hunting fraternity and became an Internet sensation. Dad Jason captured his daughter’s priceless reaction — and adrenaline rush — immediately after she pulled the trigger for the first time and collected a fine mule deer buck. Her video has been viewed nearly 1 million times on YouTube alone and featured in several national advertising campaigns.

The video is absolutely priceless, especially when the little hunting girl tells dad — who spies a bighorn sheep on the horizon — that “nobody cares about the bighorn sheep!” Here is a flashback to that special hunt:

Fast forward to 2016. It was Savannah’s sister, Sydney, who now had the honor of going after her first buck in Nebraska. Dad Jason not only got her ready for the big day, he also put her on a good deer. Did she score? You bet she did.

The video is a stark reminder of the awesome wonder all hunters feel when they experience Nature’s awesome glory. We have to say, the catch phrase, “Rock ‘n Roll” has a whole new meaning from this special family.
