As if it wasn’t already tough enough trying to harvest a whitetail for Dad, now we get to deal with the full moon as another obstacle in his quest to fill his bow tag. We went out last night, but of course, the deer movement had already occurred by the time that we got there at 2:00 p.m. We sat until dark seeing very little deer movement. I did get some great video of a Pileated Woodpecker, but that was it. We will be hunting the ground blind tonight here at the home farm, hoping to take a big 7 point that showed up out of the blue the other night, so hopefully we have a success post for you tonight!
