Today I wanted to share a video blog of some old footage of the first buck I ever killed with a bow. I shot this buck when I was a senior in high school (2009) on a windy Wednesday afternoon during the rut near my home in northern Iowa. It ran 100 yards and died in a creek. Luckily the farmer was home and had a tractor and a pair of waders to get him out!
I drilled this buck with a Rage Broadhead, and as you can see in the video it did some serious damage. I could put my fist in the entrance hole, and the blood trail looked like red paint. www.ragebroadheads.com
