Deer & Deer Hunting Schedule

Season 4 Airs on Versus Country in 2008!
Starting Friday August 1, at 1 pm. Shows Again Saturday Morning at 6 am (All Times Central).

Also Watch Season 3 on The Pursuit Channel at 10:00 pm (Central) Fridays.

In 2007, Deer & Deer Hunting was one of the most-watched outdoors show on television. And for good reason: Deer — not so-called hunting celebrities — are the stars of each and every show!

Yes, we rely on our long-time staff of whitetail experts to help tell each storyline, but when it's time to teach, we let the deer take center stage. We are confident that you will not find better footage of deer and deer behavior anywhere else than Deer & Deer Hunting!

This mission statement is rooted back to our humble beginnings as the Stump Sitters Whitetail Deer Study Group, which started Deer & Deer Hunting Magazine. For more than 30 years, Deer & Deer Hunting Magazine has provided serious whitetail hunters with practical and comprehensive information about deer and deer behavior to make them better hunters. Now entering our fourth season, D&DH has provided that same kind of comprehensive information.

Join host and longtime D&DH Contributing Editor Charles Alsheimer for the most informative whitetail show on television!

Tree-stand Safety
In all of our videos we make tree-stand safety a top priority. In 1993, Deer & Deer Hunting launched several initiatives, including the award-winning tree-stand safety surveys of its readership. The surveys, published again in 1999, resulted in reader-based data that revealed how one-in-three hunters have fallen from a tree and sustained injury at some point in their lives. This and other telling statistics revolutionized the tree-stand industry, once again due to the extensive researching and reporting of Deer & Deer Hunting.

To learn more about tree-stand safety, we urge you to download and read the Treestand Safety Guidelines (.pdf) provided by the Treestand Manufacturers Association.
