Alsheimer Lends Insights on Whitetail Deer Nutrition, Land Management on Deer Talk Now

Charles Alsheimer

Charles Alsheimer

Veteran hunter and researcher Charles Alsheimer will discuss whitetail deer nutrition and land management today on Deer Talk Now.

Alsheimer has studied white-tailed deer for almost four decades, both in the wild and in research facilities. His insights are based on first-hand knowledge, everything from nutrition and watching a buck shed its antlers to the marvel of regeneration and seeing the decline of bucks as they grow old.

Alsheimer and Deer Talk Now host Dan Schmidt, editor of Deer & Deer Hunting, will talk about land management, nutrition, how deer use habitat and other management-related topics during today’s show. Deer Talk Now is a one-hour webcast devoted to deer and deer hunting airing Wednesdays at 12 p.m. Central from Deer & Deer Hunting headquarters in Wisconsin. Deer Talk Now is presented by Mathews, Carbon Express and ICOtec.
