Jeremy Flinn, a professional wildlife biologist and regular contributor to Deer & Deer Hunting and Deer & Deer Hunting TV, has teamed with Steve Smolenski to create The Buck Advisors wildlife management service.
The Buck Advisors have strategically launched a new era of wildlife management services and products. Grounded in proven science, The Buck Advisors provide not only traditional expert on-site visits for wildlife management clients, but also offer a new online interactive set of services.
Using the latest data collection software and its own proprietary program, TrackRecord™, The Buck Advisors have developed a system to service clients through the internet reducing client costs for to travel to a property for basic wildlife management recommendations and advice.
Prospective clients can visit www.thebuckadvisors.com and create their own personal and property profiles. Then through the proprietary system, they can provide qualified wildlife biologists and managers with detailed information about their goals and property. Clients can request advice on a number of areas including food plots, trail camera surveys, jawbone aging, and professional mapping services. An assigned “Buck Advisor” will then provide custom recommendations or services, and deliver the end result through a private, client web portal.
Owned Smolenski and Flinn, The Buck Advisors allow clients of all types to receive professional advice, minimizing costly management errors on their property.
“By providing affordable, yet high quality management advice to any client in need, The Buck Advisors have the opportunity to manage more land and wildlife than ever possible with traditional site visits alone,” Flinn said.
Flinn is a professional wildlife biologist living in Columbia, Mo. He received degrees from Penn State (B.S.) and Mississippi State (M.S.) in Wildlife Management, specifically focused on white-tailed deer. He has run Flinn Wildlife Consulting and Buckscore Wildlife Management prior to bringing over all clients to Buck Advisor, LLC. He currently manages about 10,000 acres across the United States.
In addition to his wildlife management education and experience, Flinn is an accomplished outdoor writer, authoring nearly 50 published articles in popular magazine such as Deer & Deer Hunting, Quality Whitetails, and Hunting Lease Magazine. He has given nearly 100 seminars and presentations on wildlife management and hunting. Jeremy has also appeared as a deer expert on several outdoor television shows including Deer & Deer Hunting TV, Whitetail Properties, and Destination Whitetail.
Flinn is co-inventor of the deer scoring software Buckscore®, which has had strong relationships with several major hunting industry companies. In the products first three years of business, he acted as the General Manager working with several major partners including Outdoor Channel, QDMA, Bushnell, Stealth Cam, and Scentblocker. He also was the director of the first Outdoor Channel National Deer Contest in 2012. While at Buckscore®, the company’s membership base grew to more than 30,000, with more than half of that coming in the last six months of his tenure, before resigning to pursue his wildlife management career.
“Nearly every hunter and landowner is using some type of technology each day, whether that is a smartphone or computer,” Smolenski said. “The Buck Advisors is just taking a high-demand service and embedding it in this technology lifestyle.”
The Buck Advisors have teamed up with some of the most recognized names in the industry in order to connect clients directly to products they need to become successful. These companies include Whitetail Institute, Mossy Oak, DLC Covert, Sportsman’s Condos, Minnesota Trapline Products, Buckeye Feeders and more.
The company plans to release its own line of products including wildlife management and hunting accessories this autumn.
