EHD Affecting Deer Across the Midwest With VIDEO

We have been reporting on multiple states throughout the Midwest facing outbreaks of epizootic hemorrhagic disease, including Nebraska, Oklahoma, Indiana and farther east.

Well add Illinois to the list. The Chicago Tribune reports at least 250 cases of EHD have been identified in 32 Illinois counties this summer. More cases are expected.

Here’s a disturbing video of a North Carolina doe suffering from the disease.

    what is it and what causes it ? I have not heard of this before although I’m on the westcoast. the doe looks like she is in a delerium, thats to bad because it looks like it has attacked the nervous system in some way.
