Are you ready to talk about whitetail deer, the upcoming hunting seasons and scratching that off-season itch that’s driving you absolutely crazy?
DEER TALK NOW gives viewers an opportunity to ask questions of our deer hunting professionals. A one-hour online outdoor show hosted by Dan Schmidt and Brad Rucks of Deer & Deer Hunting magazine will feature a variety of topics where viewers can ask questions that staff will choose to discuss during the show.
Rucks is publisher and Schmidt is editor of Deer & Deer Hunting, bringing you decades of hunting experience. They’ll debate issues, discuss hot button and casual topics, talk with special guests, field questions from viewers, take a look at hunting gear and hit on everything from habitat and deer biology to hunter ethics and new products.
SHOW SCHEDULE:
Wednesday, May 22 - Dan Schmidt, editor of Deer & Deer Hunting, will dive into the habits and behaviors of white-tailed deer we love to study and hunt. Bolstered by video of deer in the field, Schmidt will lend insights into what their actions mean and how we can learn from them.
Wednesday, May 8 - Travis “T-Bone” Turner, a diehard deer hunter and popular fan favorite, will join the crew to talk about his travels, what he’s up to this summer and some of his hunting tips.
Wednesday, May 22 - Summer planting, habitat planning and more will be the topic as we move into summer!
Wednesday, June 5 – Ever wondered about hunting with a Modern Sporting Rifle or AR rifle? Find out more from Mark Sidelinger of Illinois and Rock River Arms about accessories, popular misconceptions folks have about the accurate, efficient rifles and how to put more deer, hogs and predators on the ground with yours.
