What if you could be charged with poaching more than a decade later?
Apparently, in our latest weird deer news story, in India that’s not a stretch. Five actors have been hit with charges of killing two deer in an Indian wildlife preserve 14 years ago.
The actors, including Bollywood star Salman Kahn, are accused of shooting two blackbucks in a preserve. The animals are endangered and protected, according to this report, so the accused are facing some pretty stiff charges.
How stiff? Up to six years in prison. Holy smokes!
Khan is a huge star in the Mumbai-based Bollywood film business, according to the report, having appeared in more than 80 Hindi-language films.
