Florida's very well known for its bird life, from tiny migrant songbirds to shoreline birds like roseate spoonbills and ibis that live in the marshes.

The team from Destination Whitetail heads to south Florida for the opening day of the 2012 deer season, the first whitetail season in America! Be sure to tune in to see what happens on the crew’s opening morning deer hunt and check out these photos from our visit to steamy summertime Florida!

Check out all the action on Destination Whitetail on the Sportsman Channel Wednesdays at 8:30 p.m. EST and 11:30 p.m. EST, plus an additional showing on Fridays at 9:30 a.m. EST. For more information the shows, go here.

Moultrie’s new Panoramic 150 has numerous features along with a silent, sliding lens and multiple sensors. When a sensor detects movement, the lens shifts to that zone and gives you a panoramic scene of the entire area, up to 150 degrees. Then you can “stitch” the photos together for a wide view. Pretty amazing. Set up the Panoramic 150 around a game feeder or mineral lick and you can get some super photos. GET IT HERE
