Iowa big buck hunter Curtis Goettsch has an array of trail cam photos of a huge buck he was watching for a long time.
Hey, that’s not uncommon with wary old bucks. They move around, maybe explore their home range, ramble a bit.
But folks usually notice a 200-class bruiser with some serious antlers. These have some great mass and a bit of palmation. Goettsch first saw it in 2010 and it was good, but not what he was targeting. Then, almost a year to the day at the same site, the buck returned and was a genuine Iowa smack daddy.
And then it pulled the ol’ Houdini and disappeared.
Check out Goettsch’s site for more photos and his tale of the mysterious Iowa monster buck.
