South Alabama "Washington" county

A buddy has some land in Washington county and i am trying to plan a trip down there in the next couple of weeks. I Was thinking the 7th or the 14th. Which weekend tends to be more productive. I know the rut isnt till the last weekend, but was checking to see if any sign of rut is starting. Any info would be great so i can plan my trip.

I'm in Lee county. Our rut is just starting up...I think. Watched a 6pt hound a doe on Christmas eve morning but then did not see another deer all weekend!!!
If I were you I would come and hunt the weekend of the 14th.
