Have any of you here read this most excellent visionary treatise about wildlife, nature, and a conservation land ethic, SAND COUNTY ALMANAC ?
 
I first read it for an ecology class I had in college 36 years ago, and I still re-read parts of it every few years from my time-yellowed copy of it. Truly an amazing man, and WAAAY ahead of his time.

I`ll look on Amazon for a copy-next to the Bible, and many of Billy Grahams writings, that should be a good read.
