We really need to have some kind of filter, I guess it'd be kind of crappy to have to do one of those verification deals each time we want to post, but i'd be down for it if it meant we actually had our forum back...

I would like to agree, but your course is the better one. Ask first, then install a simi-auto delete button! and fire away.

As it turns out, I have one again overestimated my own abilities. When I went to the "moderator panel" and tried to delete a spam thread (outside of the Health & Fitness) board, nothing happened. Sorry.

Deleting post by post is a waste of time to be honest. Just have the main admin delete the spammers account and all of the posts created by that spammer will be deleted in the database. PhPBB forum has alot of addons you can install to stop spammers from taking over the forum. The webmaster will have to install the addon.
