Hi guys,
Great comments. Thanks for the input! New question for next week has already been posted. Please chime in!
My thoughts on TX: Many of the points you all bring up do ring true to some extent. My overall opinion, TX free-range TX whitetail hunting is unlike anything you can experience elsewhere. South TX offers some incredible opportunities. It is expensive, but no more expensive than an out-of-state hunt in KS, Iowa, Sask., etc. Plus, if you research the topic, you can find free range hunts in TX that allow you to kill multiple bucks during your hunt.
My overall advice: if you are one of those guys who saves up all year to take one hunt out of state, don't knock Texas until you've tried it yourself.
