{EMAIL} 2008 rut: Time Your Hunts

here in the part of il where i hunt, ive followed the rut forecast pretty close every year since its inception. ive planned my vacation around these moon phases for years and believe theres something to it. while i havent score on a bigun every year ive enjoyed a tremendous show. the only times ive seen a real lag of activity around these times is as joel stated  hot or warm weather. however every place is different and i believe that every deer and deer herd is different to some degree. but i do honestly feel that the amount of daylight and moonlight that deer are subject to plays a definite part in their yearly schedules.
