I ordered my calendar Jan 11th. as a premium for renewing my subscription. I then got an e-mail saying I should have it by March 12th. When April came and there was still no calendar, I inquired as to what was wrong. I got a prompt e-mail back saying "we're sorry..we'll mail you another calendar. You should receive it in 6-8 weeks" It was just delivered late last week. Apparently calendars are extremely hard to deliver. I'll assume that this is more of a problem caused by D&DH not getting their deliveries on time from the printers. Let's face it, we want these things mainly for the rut predictions anyway, and there's still plenty of time to study up on that before we start hunting. I'd rather have the digital version anyway, but I haven't seen that on the website yet.
Just to let you know these things are not confined to D&DH, I also ordered some stuff from Cabela's (and paid for it) on Jan 23rd,2011. There were 2 items, both in the bargain cave, for considerable percentage off. I got the 1st item within three days of placing the order. The second item is not here yet. I'm told that it will deliver on May 16th. By then I'll have forgotten why I wanted the item. I can't understand marking an item down 75% to get it off the books and then having to backorder it and deliver almost four months later.
