While cleaning my T/C Omega today I had tiny curled metal shaving,s stuck to the cleaning patches. These shaving's were magnetic so I assume they are coming from the barrel. I am shooting 250grain shock waves so I doubt they came from the bullet. But I may be wrong. I chatted with T/C today and they are sending me a prepaid shipping label so I can send my gun for inspection. Should I go ahead and ship it? Or are metal shavings a common thing? I have never seen these before. Although this gun has only been shot 4 times in the 3+ years I have owned it.

Could it be from the cleaning rod itself? I had that happen with my omega a few years ago.
Shavings coming from the barrel is not usual. I'd send it in.
