camo my gun

I ran across a deal i couldnt turn down on a browning bps pump shotgun the other day, its a little worn but is in great mechanical condition. So i want to do my own camo paint job , any suggestions? I know camo is not neccesary but its just something i want to try, and i am not looking to spend 200 dollars sending it off somewhere to get camo... If anyone has done their own camo before i would like some suggestions and maybe some pics of your guns.

Don't paint the action bars!!  Outside of that, make sure you thoroughly degrease the gun and hit it up with some flat paint.

I'd recommend being realistic about your expectation for the results. Best case it is going to come out looking like a DIY garage paint job. If you are cool with that, go for it.

I recommend not doing it to a deer gun-- there's no need.
