Husqvarna bolt action .243?

Was looking at guns in a shop the other day and the owner pulled out a "husky" rifle and handed it to me.  Beautiful shape.  I wasn't familiar with these guys making guns???  Have they been making guns for a while?  Would this be a military swedish gun?  Do they still mfg today?  How is there quality.  Anyone with experience on these would be helpful.  Are there various models in their bolt actions and good vs. bad?  Thanks.

They made both military and commercial firearms.   It could have either been a sporterized M96 or one of their consumer models.  I don't know much about them except that they are highly prized in some quarters. What was it chambered for?

Shaman, good to hear from you.  It was sporterized??? Not the basic military "look".  Chambered in .280 Rem.  I'm assuming that is not much different than my .270?  Anyways, nice looking and was curious to see the name Husky on the barrel.  Really want a .243 for the kids growing up.
