i shot a .50 Cal TC Omega. I love it, it was affordable and shoots awsome. Its not to heavy, and its the only muzzleloader i've ever owned but i've shot a couple and the Omega was definatly a good buy for me. And its very accurate!
Over the years I have bought three TC's. All 50 cal. Hawkins percussion cap, Omega and an Encore. The latter two are scoped with a Nicon buckmasters 3 x 9. You can almost pound tacks at 100 yards, but the Hawkins is the most fun to shoot.
WOULD LIKE TO HEAR A FEW COMMENTS ON BLACKPOWER PELLETS FOR MY MUZZLELOADER,GOT A ENCORE 209 50CAL.LIKE THE JIM SHOCKEY POWER,BUT WHAT I DONT LIKE IS THE WAY THEY SEAT.
A Pursuit LT 50cal break open....It's light ...easy to load and clean...and shoots great....I bought Mr B a 50 Cabelas flint cap years ago...it's Italian made and a beautiful...short barreled woods gun....Shoots very nice...haven't been able to talk him into any other Blk powder rifle.....Bought his dad a TC Encore...expensive but he loves it and it breaks open to clean....
