Kinda new here. Just wanted to say hi to you guys. My favorite gun is the 7600. I have it in both 35 whelen & 300 sav. The whelen has been all over the world and has never let me down. I used it alot in Africa. I retired to South Carolina low country now. I have my 300 savage in a 7600. Perfict for monday nite football we take a pig from the swamps through it on the burner and we're good for football. Also use the 300sav. for deer in Pa. Its a family thing. Hey just a thought if you ever want to restock the whelen rem. custom shop has a great high gloss stock they made for the 270, it fits the whelen.
