ICON or Encore in the new 30 TC

Does anybody have the new TC ICON  or Encore in the new 30 TC caliber? I have an Encore and am thinking of adding 1 of the 2 to my hunting arsenal. Will probably use the Hornady SST 150 grain bullet. Any experiences, data, info, kills? Thanks in advance.

yup i have a t/c icon in 308. its a sweetie 1/2 or better groups , nikon scope great package!

I'm looking at buying a T/C muzzleloader, and was wondering if either of you or anyone else has any advice on how to go about it, and where is a good place to purchase one?  I really like the Encore Pro Hunter as you're able to switch out your barrels...Has anyone had any problems with this?  I've heard that's it's almost better to just have one gun for each caliber you want instead of switching it out since it's more 'stable' with no moving parts, etc.  What are your thoughts?

Going to answer my own question. I got my 30 TC barrel, and it is quite beautiful to shoot. SS 28" Prohunter, Leopold VX3 3.5 X 10 scope,  Hornady150 grain bullet, 3000 FPS tackdriver without recoil. Never look back!!!

fishingfool36, how much $ you have in that?  i'm still looking at 'em but go back and forth as to what i want and how much to spend.

Got about $1100 in the gun & scope but I love it. I live in Louisiana so it's bass, speckled trout & redfish for me. Sometimes it's tuna & snapper.
