Prepare yourselves folks, it`s already going on. In the aftermath of the "terrorist" attack in India, there are already rumblings about the ease of getting firearms in that country. Many there are pleading with their government to do something to make them "safer".

I have not heard anything recently about the small arms treaty the united nations wanted the US to sign, but am expecting it to come back up, especially since obama is taking the White House. If the treaty were signed, obama wouldn`t even have to attempt to enact the Federal override of state concealed carry laws he now has in mind.

My family has owned a ranch in Montana since 1942 and that is were we live. Happy now? My bright and wonderful staff of dedicated nurses and doctors are saddened by the comments made in this discussion. That's not to say that we haven't had great fun and many laughs reading them, but unlike all of you confederates, we're actually doing something constructive - saving lives. Witness terrible disease processes and auto accident injuries and it makes you pick your battles more carefully. Oh, by the way, did you know that women and blacks can vote now?

LOL! I see you figured out how Obama got elected too! As smart as you claim to be I can't believe how blind you are to what Obama IS going to try and impose as far as gun control. 4 years is a long time for anti-gun committees to lobby for new legislation and you think that won't happen??? I guess time will tell. Question is will you be "man" enough to come back here and admit you we're wrong. If I had to guess you signed up here as a new member just to argue with men because you enjoy it so much! Have any of your posts actually been about deer hunting which is what this website is about?

Saving lives is more than admirable. Conservatives save lives too sometimes. Really.

All that was posted recently was the truth about the state of our(your) 2nd amendment rights. You can look it up.

This is a sub-forum entitled guns. When we're not fencing with thin skinned liberals, we talk about guns and gun related stuff here.

Whats really cool about your side is when you get into a debate where you have no argument you're the first ones to get mean and start throwing insults around like confetti.

yes. Did we denigrate or insult you? I did make a somewhat sarcasric remark re the impending bills being in stark contrast to your position. Try to pick a fight? No. You did that. You're still trying to do it. It is apparently what you do when you're not saving lives.

Do you actually have any kind of legitimate response to the bills or data that have been presented? You said you would, I believe it was "fight ferociously" for your gun rights. What exactly does that mean? When? You apparently don't think there is a problem. Okay, why? Really, resist the urge to take the shot you're forming right right now and state your position. You must have one. I assume you hunt and so own guns. Although so far you come off like an anti-gun lurker or a troller.

If we amuse you, terrific. We're not losing any sleep over it. We're waiting for you to contribute something. Not holding our breath or anything. Please, in true liberal fashion, enlighten us. You`re more than just a little vindictive. I`m happy though that you`re apparently here to allow your bright and wonderful staff to peer into our world and have a good laugh at us hunters and gunowners, obviously well beneath you and your staff. And why exactly are they saddened by our comments? I know that typically, you enlightened types are against gun ownership entirely, because just like the new president-elect, you know better than we do what`s best for us.

And although what you do is very noble, don`t talk down to us. Every person on this forum is the salt of the earth. Likely most here don`t perform surgery, but we work hard everyday, doing the jobs that run this Country, so do not look down on, nor talk down to us. I hope your bright and wonderful staff heard that and get it too.

And I`m only speaking for myself, but I know exactly what battles I`ve chosen and what the costs are. The Second Amendment guarantess all the others, and so it`s the one I watch most especially. Everyone here undsertands that more gun laws and restrictions aren`t the answer, since criminals don`t obey the one`s already in place. More regulation only inhibits good, law-abiding people from being able to lawfully defend themselves. Your man, the new president-elect doesn`t get that, neither do feinstein, shumer, kennedy, bloomberg, and all the other freedom grabbers. So you see, I`m doing something too. I`m watching people like you, who are above all us poor working people, so you don`t get a chance to do our thinking for us, decide what our freedoms should be, and what we can be trusted with.
