Triple 7 Magnum Pellets

I have aThompson Center Pro Hunter and I purchased a Nikon BDC Scope, I sighted in yesterday and tried both 150 grains with 3 pellets of Pyrodex and 2 pellets of the Triple 7 magnum pellets. I am using 250 grain shockwaves and the Nikon says that the BDC is set up for the 150 grains of Pyrodex. Has anyone tried a Nikon BDC with the Magnum Triple Sevens? They were definitely more accurate at 100 yards out of my gun, but I haven't had a chance to try it out at longer ranges using the BDC reticle. I wonder how much difference the yardage will be? Any experience please respond.
