Shank, that's a solid rifle and it's ready-to-hunt. You may want to call ahead if you're gonna buy one at BPS. I know the BPS in St. Charles, MO does'nt always have what's advertised on-line.

That's the 28" fluted model... the "package" you saw is the 26" no-frills model. But it is a really good rifle.

Buy the best that you can afford. You only have to buy the best once.Every one has their opinion. It's like buying a new truck. When they work great their all great when you buy a lemon they all stink.

I recently ordered an Optima Elite Stainless from Dicks. I think they are getting rid of the Elite with the new Accura that has comeout. The Elite Stainless was only $389 and it also comes with the premium Bergarra Barrel. I already had a scope that I am going to use and had to buy all the accessories. I think I still spent about $200 on accessories, powder, sabots and everything. I can't wait for it to get here. I don't think I'll be disapointed with it, andif you want to spend a little more I doubt you will either.
