So it seems, both my neighbors shoot deer year round. It's really frustrating after the deer feed in my food plots to wonder over to the fence line to be shot in jmarch - august. I report them after hearing them hootin and hollering " ya really got ya a big one that time Earl " Same thing every year. Another joke is no shooting from public roadways- hah!!! they line the dirt roads ( in thier hunter orange ) waiting for their dogs to run a deer across the road so they can try and make a snap shot. I see more rotting deer from hits to the hind quaters year after year. Then I hear about these ground checks, shoot the buck then if it does'nt make the min just leave it lay. Sorry but to me Arkansas hunter ( cant really call em hunter ) have no ethics and what few wildlife officers there are to patrol enormous areas are apparently scared to get off pavement.
