Bought the new Mathews DXT this past Feb. and I am very pleased with it. So far i got a turkey and doe with it and it is fast and quiet. Shoot in the basement 3-4 times per week and it performs well. had to change my grip a little to get it to papertune good but thats me not the bow. Got a g5 metapeep put in and it hasnt rotated at all. All around Im very happy with it and give it two thumbs up! I shot a 2003 Fred Bear team realtree bow before this and although I had no problems with it I cant believe the difference.

They are one heck of a bow. I have a switchback and would love to go to the dxt but cant justify it right now $$$ wise.
 
Have you had a chance to run it on a chrono??Just curious what kind of speed you are getting out of it.

Prairieshadow I have the switchback xt and love it my buddy just bought a dxt and I cant tell a difference between the 2 other than dxt is a little shorter.... I like the switchback xt better mostly because its mine, lol.
 
I chronied my xt and shoot 290 fps with maxima 350 and 100 grain tips...
 
I switched from a High Country 4 Runner Pro Series which was a great bow but still wasnt in the same league as the Mathews my shooting improved dramaticly once I swithched to the Mathews because the bow is so smooth...

I shot through a chrono a while back at 65 lbs and cx 350s,29 inch draw,100gr  at 285.
Thats one thing that amazes me that I never noticed before I shot this bow-handshock!
My fred bear that ive shot since buying the mathews feels like its going to jump out of my hand. The dxt is dead in the hand! Love it!

i hear you about hand shock,i went from a reflex(made by hoyt) to my mathews. Then i went back and tried to shoot the reflex, holy @#@$! did it hurt my hand!

I shoot a switchback, love it.  I shoot other brands of bows occasionally and can't believe how much they jump, and vibrate.

mine is going about 285
with 125 grain arrow tips
it is an incredible bow
and the force behind it exceptional it hits like aa ton of bricks
i had a passthrough on a kudu at a 3D shoot at 45 yards with a field point
