I agree that it's one of two things. A pine Martin or a Fisher.
I'm going to say fisher, based on the snout. I think a fishers snout is just a bit shorter and more rounder than a martin, and that's kind of what I see in the photo. Hard to say for sure.
I hope you get another picture, because I really want to know now.

A beaver sure seems a bit silly now.

I thought it looked like a beaver in the first picture, but now I think it's a fox. I'm certainly no expert tho.
Hunting: 10% skill and 90% location.
