We read about I don't recall reading anything being done to manage insects ...grubs...weevils ect ...so what do you do?

I put out Japanese beetle traps and spread a flake that is for ants(a big problem for crops and mast trees) once in the spring and fall

No one manages for crop pests?....battling the Japanese beetles alone has helped my plots....the grubs aren't destroying the perennial plots roots and the adults aren't devouring the plants leaves in the fall when we need them the most...then there is the reduction of skunk ...voles...and moles that tear up the ground feeding on the grubs...voles alone are about the most destructive pest on four legs we have...even though they will feed on grubs....they destroy many a tree and root system during the winters hear.
