Weed Killer, Rakes, and Shovels

Postby kykevin » Fri Jul 16, 2010 3:10 pm

I am off to my little slice of the woods tomarrow to start the process of making a few new out of the way food plots. Actually the work started about 5 weeks ago when I took soil samples from my new locations. Tomarrow will be round one of weed killer along with a little weedeatting and cutting down of a few scrub treestrees to let a little sun hit the dirt. I made 2 little remote food plots last year and couldnt be happier with the way they turned out. It takes alot of sweat but I enjoy every minute of it, although the mass amounts of spiders and ticks I could do without.

Good Luck on Your venture KYKevin...be sure to shoot some bug spray on yourself and take plenty of water with You...be careful and don't get over-heated in this humid weather we're having! [:(]
