Has anyone had any experience growing Loblolly Pines. MDC is selling a hybrid Loblolly x Pitch Pine and from what I've read it should be cold hardy enough for north Missouri and a fast grower. I'm interested in finding out what type of growth people have experienced with new plantings as every other Pine/Spruce/Fir I've planted just don't seem to do well, and we've already got plenty of Red Cedars.
