J, first and foremost, I would not allow anyone to hunt your property!!! PERIOD, END OF STORY!!! It's simply too small. Too much pressure and there goes the neighborhood. I was the same way before so I do understand. I might not even hunt in the mornings unless you are hunting along the fencelines. I used to walk the easiest route to my stands and once or twice spooking the Deer is all it takes. As far as the Deer not hitting the Persimmons, I bet they are but, maybe at night or you might be spooking them on your way out. I would run that by Don Higgins, who swears by Persimmons. You can send him an E-mail at don@higginsoutdoors.com. Maybe they need lime or fertilizer, I just don't know
