To scope or not to scope...

hey legnip ,If your eyesight is good its fine to use pins but i use use a 3 dot red dot and i love it, i had simmons scope on it but red dot is faster to use.because i am far sighted i cant see the pins threw the pep. red dots for me

Good eyesite or not. A 4 power crossbow scope is the way to go. You get a good look at what your shooting at even during low light condtions. I have a Horton 150 lb. I also use a range finder, so I know what my limits are at a stand site. I'm not sure what my long range limits are, but I have hit targets out to 55yds. I also hunt with a compound too. Depends where I'm going to hunt. If its an area where there it is more open and longer shots are possible, the crossbow is the choice. Have harvested deer with both.
