Just went this weekend and found a couple in only an hours time. Most of the bucks on my cuddeback have their horns yet though.

Well, went out for a couple hours today. Nice sunny day for a walk.Took the dogs along but did'nt find any sheds. They got their share of deer "treats" though.[:'(] The deer have really been hitting the cedars hard. All the trees we cut for a shooting lane this year are completely bare. And they've been at the mineral blocks as well.

I'm not allowed to shed hunt anymore. a couple years ago my son and I got in a tiff about who found one of the spike sheds. it got pretty ugly. cops were called, cavity searches were initiated, ankle collars worn, it was rough. My son is 6 now, I think he has forgotten.

I walked around for 2hrs on Monday and never found a shed. Found 5 dead turkeys though[:(]
Looked like they just starved, some weren't touched by anything others were eaten by whatever.
No dead deer though so that was good.

Yea, this weather is def. having a toll on the wildlife.  On the way in to work this morning I saw a bird frozen to the cement on the parking ramp.  Poor guy.
